Leslie Padilla is an accomplished public relations professional with more than eighteen years experience in domestic and international corporations and agencies. She has proven herself repeatedly by delivering award-winning press coverage and strategic media campaigns. Leslie is an acutely skilled company spokesperson and savvy messenger. She has supported world-renowned executives and celebrities to make headlines for her clients in influential consumer and trade media.

Leslie currently leads Leslie Padilla Public Relations (LPPR, LLC) based in Devon, Pennsylvania. LPPR is a marketing communications boutique that develops and executes multi-tiered branding efforts for various consumer-focused clients. As Principal of LPPR, Leslie crafts concise and poignant messaging, along with persuasive communications and branding collateral. To showcase her clients’ missions, Leslie directs strategic media relations campaigns, social networking plans, sponsorships, consumer events, trade shows, social responsibility efforts, and advertising. Leslie personally befriends key industry sources and media constituents to create mutually beneficial partnerships and added value alliances for her clients.

Prior to LPPR, Leslie was Senior Director Public Relations at CN8, The Comcast Network, a pioneering cable network owned and operated by Comcast Cable. In this post she built and directed a PR department for Comcast’s multi-genre network serving cable subscribers and U.S. Congress. During her almost seven-year tenure at Comcast, Leslie was selected to participate in the Company’s first-ever Emerging Leaders Program. Before Comcast, Leslie created and ran the internal public relations department and supervised regional PR firms for the North American offices of the internationally acclaimed French botanical beauty leader Yves Rocher. As spokesperson for the company, Leslie adopted cultural nuances to successfully navigate and influence diverse audiences in New York City, Paris, Montreal and Toronto.

Leslie also served as an ambassador of renowned entertainment and fashion arbiters as Director, New Media & Entertainment Lifestyle at the prestigious New York City post of industry-lauded Rogers & Cowan Public Relations. In this role she oversaw PR for clients including: David Bowie; Tommy Hilfiger; New York Yankees; Luxottica Group; and InStyle.

During the social emergence of the World Wide Web, Leslie served as Manager of Public Relations for QVC, Inc. In this role, she developed and executed PR campaigns for QVC’s interactive, international, private record label, and direct response Divisions. Her pioneering efforts earned her QVC’s most honored employee recognition with a True North Award for Continued Excellence.

Leslie is an award-winning graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, and a minor in Theatre. She graduated as the single recipient of The Don Yoder Undergraduate Paper Prize Competition. Leslie lives on the Philadelphia’s Main Line with her son Oscar and daughter Paloma, whom she credits as a constant source of strength and motivation that transcends her career successes.
