MEDIA RELATIONS

Reach out to editors, reporters and producers in the trade, business and mainstream media to generate coverage for clients and its products/services. Media relations activities include: face-to-face and telephone interviews; news announcements; expert pitches; press conferences; event promotion; booth briefings at industry trade shows; media tours; speaking panels; radio tours; satellite media tours; and more.

WEBSITE & BLOG CONSTRUCTION

Recommend format and function for client Web sites and blogs. Construct, design, write, and maintain sites and implement strategic social media plans to drive traffic and business through Web presence.

SOCIAL NETWORKING

Develop and execute call-to-action digital media campaigns leveraging popular consumer social networks including: Facebook; Twitter; LinkedIn; Plaxo; MySpace; You Tube; and others. Serve as administrator for client Facebook Fan and Group pages to post relevant updates that build brand awareness, increase “friend” lists, and ultimately build business.

CONSTITUENT RELATIONS

Cultivate relationships with clients and other constituents who are willing to speak publicly about the benefits of client services and facilitate ways in which these third-party testimonials can be effectively communicated to industry trade and consumer audiences.

MATERIALS DEVELOPMENT

Research and write a full range of materials to support client communication efforts, including: corporate/organization backgrounders; services fact sheets; client “success stories”; executive biographies; press releases; media advisories; presentations; Q&As; internal announcements; investor letters; talking points; amongst others.

MESSAGING & TRAINING

Work with client to create mission statement that concisely communicates client vision, services and added-value proposition that differentiates it from competition. Media train spokespeople in advance of press meetings and sponsorship events so to maximize company visibility and communications.

ADVERTISING RECOMMENDATIONS

Identify, reserve and coordinate artwork for print and potential radio advertising buys. Liaise with designer on specs and deadlines for artwork submission. Extend media buys by creating added-value sponsorships, event participation and “front-of-the-book” advertorial and listings.

CORPORATE VIDEOS

Produce on-camera videos for internal and external use targeting various audiences. Serve at interviewer to secure meaningful sound bites and poignant messaging. Prepare interviewees by writing scripts, talking points, and advance on-camera training. Also secure and oversee videographer and help to edit final video for Web posting and presentations.

CLIENT PORTFOLIO "UNVEILINGS"

Liaise with clients to create visual and editorial “unveilings” that demonstrate the benefits of their exclusive products and services. Create photo opportunities and secure interviews to further communicate the client’s efficacy and efficiency in meeting its founding mission.

CLIENT ACQUISITION

Recommend and develop event exposure and sponsorship opportunities for client with direct access to potential customers so to drive business.

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Create and leverage events with a “good will halo” to create positive, socially responsible branding for the client. Leverage these efforts to prospect new customers and market client products/services.

BYLINE ARTICLES

Research and write consumer-centric feature articles bylined by client “experts” and submit them for publication in magazines and newspapers that reach target audiences throughout desired regional/national footprint.

EVENT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT

Plan and manage special events both locally and regionally. Services include: event identification; coordination with partners; on-site and/or remote management; collateral/branded merchandise development and distribution; booth presentation; catering; audio/visual services; and administration of the invitation and RSVP process.

COPY WRITING & EDITING

Write and edit copy for newsletters, brochures, annual reports, Websites, and other print and online resources.

CONFERENCE/TRADE SHOW SUPPORT

Schedule media briefings during industry conferences and events where client may share its latest services and initiatives with reporters and other constituents.

BACKGROUND RESEARCH

Research, compile and summarize studies, statistics and industry reports to support your communications efforts.
